Practice Clinics
Clinics are held for Asthma, COPD and Diabetes and are run by the Doctors and Practice Nurses with additional help from hospital specialists when necessary.
Maternity
We provide full antenatal and postnatal maternity care with deliveries usually at Great Western Hospital, Swindon. We work closely with the midwives who carry out antenatal clinics in the surgeries.
Family Planning
We provide a full service including the fitting of coils and caps, insertion of implants and we offer advice about and prescribe the contraceptive pill.
Cervical Smears
All women from the age of 25 to 65 are encouraged to have a smear. Those from 25-50 every 3 years, and those 50-65 every 5 years. These are carried out either by the Doctors or the Practice Nurses.
Minor Surgery
This is carried out within the Practice where appropriate. We have our own equipment for cryotherapy.
Other NHS Services
Other services include Chiropody, Practice Counsellor and Drug & Alcohol Team.
Private Services
A number of private practitioners provide services from the Practice premises. These practitioners are completely independent of the Practice and the NHS and whilst we believe them to be of good standing, the Practice accepts no responsibility or liability for any service provided by them, or failure thereof howsoever caused.
